Being a college student is 50 percent procrastination, 30 percent stressing over homework, 12 percent lack of sleep and 10 percent wishing it was the end of the semester. Your brain is probably so overwhelmed that you didn't even notice the extra two percent... and yes, that extra two percent is accurate.

Here are 10 moments Spongebob Squarepants nailed what it's like to be a college student.

1. The first half of the semester is always like this.

You walk in feeling confident and ready to crush the semester.

2. The second half of the semester is a different story.

By this time, you're asking the professor for any extra credit and maybe a few tears would help seal the deal.

3. When you're sitting in class and nothing makes sense.

Hopefully the person next to you doesn't get it either, so you both can fail together.

4. When you're trying to work on a paper, but get distracted by the internet.

5. When you finally finish that paper you should have been working on.

At least it's done.

6. Sometimes school becomes your life.

It's a cycle.

7. After a long day of school and you're invited to go out...

Everyone needs to get out sometimes.

8. But sometimes you just want to stay in and sleep.

You can always go out another night.

9. Trying to get everything done.

With everything you have to do and you're still trying to get good grades.

10. But after all of the hard work, college is worth it!

And fun too!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
