So the end of the semester is creeping up and you're doing your best to not get on your hands and knees and crawl over the finish line. We all know the struggles of that end of the semester slump entails such as camping out in the library, having more caffeine than blood in your body, and adding the 10-minute nap you took in your car between classes to the total number of hours you've slept this week. Here are a few scenes from Parks and Rec to let you know you're not alone.

1. Your sanity is nonexistent.

To quote "Alice in Wonderland," "You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are."

2. You can't remember the last time you were healthy.

Your white blood cell count is as low as your bank account balance.

3. You spend more hours in the library than you do in your bed.

You start getting the "I haven't seen you in 48 hours, are you ok?" texts.

4. Two days before your term paper is due:

Keep calm and just pick a topic that you can write about for 14 pages. It's easy, right?

5. You find every reason to procrastinate and forget about the due dates slowly creeping up.

You're probably scrolling through social media right now trying to ignore your assignments, it's ok I'm probably doing the same thing.

6. Your emotional instability is out of control.

If your emotional breakdowns are nearing double digits for the week, take a break and drive yourself to Wal-mart, a carton of ice cream is only $2.97.

7. Trying to convince yourself to workout is nearly impossible.

Does running out of time count as cardio?

8. You're irrationally mad when people are loud in the library.

Calm down I promise it's the coffee and sleep deprivation talking.

9. You tell yourself you're going to pull an all-nighter but end up caving in.

You convince yourself that a 30-minute nap on the library floor will somehow actually make a difference.

10. You start becoming Ron Swanson at social gatherings.

You have making a quick appearance and grabbing a plate of free food down to a science.

I just hope you could relate to these scenes and laugh a little before realizing you've been procrastinating on social media for far longer than you anticipated. Trust me we are all crawling, you're not the only one, so hold on just a few more weeks and you can catch up on sleep and binge watch Parks and Rec.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
