Okay, let’s just start this off by saying: everyone has had someone they’re interested in but feel like they’re not noticed by. To put it simply, everyone (or most people), have insecurity issues. The best part about having insecurity issues if that you don’t think the person you like is into you. Even though you may not know this for sure, it sure feels that way. I know we have all had some thoughts on this, so here are a few:
1. Walking past your crush.
This is a literal figure of what you try to look like in the hallway, street, gym or where ever you’re walking.
2. Doing your makeup just because you might run into him/her.
When friends ask why you did your makeup today you respond confidently: “Well i saw _____ today while she/he was getting food.” We all have that friend, we’ve all been that friend and we’ve all seen it done.
3. Saying hi is the big story you’ll go home to tell your friends about.
This is sad how much of a reality this GIF is.
4. Staying up all night to imagine scenarios of you two.
Be honest, you’ve thought of your first date or actually, legitimately holding a conversation.
5. Not being able to stop smiling when you’re around them.
It’s like you try to stop smiling and then you just can’t. It’s like your heart is smiling. Or maybe some force of nature wants you to make a dork of yourself.
6. Everything they say is funny. Every. Thing.
It’s like they turned a switch on and you laugh loud and hard at everything they say. Even when what they’re saying isn’t funny, you still giggle.
7. Following them on social media is a big move.
Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or SnapChat???? Are they going to accept me? I should check my profile and make sure I look cute enough. You even them through your friend’s social media. But when they accept your request/friendship request AND follow you back it’s like patting yourself on the back.
8. Now you’re following them, do they have a significant other??
Hmmmm, who is she? A sister, cousin, aunt??? WHO IS SHE?
9. Getting dressed up to go out, hoping you see them.
Should I wear jeans or leggings? "My butt looks better in jeans" said no one ever.
10. Hoping they notice you is the reason for your entire existence.
Hoping one day that getting dressed up and doing your makeup will make the guy/gal you like, like you back.
