If you don't already know about this HGTV power couple then you need to watch their show, 'Fixer Upper,' immediately. The couple purchases houses at low costs for clients and restores them into their full potential and with Joanna's designs the house is decorated with a mix of vintage and classic pieces. The houses turn out beautiful and with the couple's on-screen humor, the show has been a huge success. So for all of you that are already 'Fixer Upper' fans, here is a list of ten more reasons to love Chip and Joanna Gaines.

1) The couple went to Baylor University but never met.

In 1998, Chip graduated with a degree in Business Administration, and later in 2001, Joanna graduated with a degree in Communication.

2) Car brakes brought these two together.

Joanna was working in her father's auto shop, when Chip came in for his car's brakes and the two finally met.

3) Joanna had dreams of being on TV.

While at Baylor, Joanna majored in Communication and had dreams of being a broadcast journalist. She had envisioned herself to possibly have her own cooking show one day!

4) While, Chip had different dreams.

Chip Gaines had dreamt he would one day be a baseball player or a politician.

5) 'Magnolia Market' was originally opened as Joanna's own business.

Magnolia Market was originally Joanna's personal business venture, but soon the business expanded into construction with Chip's help and became a larger company to include Magnolia Homes and Magnolia Realty.

6) Their first fixer-upper was their starting home as newlyweds.

The couple's very first construction venture was their very own newlywed home. After the honeymoon, the couple immediately went to work on restoring the home. It seems like fate that these two ended up on HGTV.

7) The family farm has 60 animals.

Their farm has 40 acres for their growing family of animals which include chickens, cows and even goats!

8) But the goats are Joanna's favorite.

Joanna loves how playful goats are, which is why they are her favorites.

Even with the success of the couple's show, "Fixer Upper," Joanna still follows a strict budget when shopping at flea markets.

10) The couple has expanded their business into furniture, a bakery and even a bed and breakfast!

Chip and Joanna have expanded Magnolia Market into a multi-faceted business that includes a furniture line, a bakery and even a bed and breakfast. The two continue to explore new business ventures in their town of Waco, Texas.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
