1. You're right.
Oh, this one is so hard to say. We never want to tell our moms they were right because it's promptly followed by an "I told you so." Well, here's the thing. You know your mom is right a lot more than you give her credit for especially when you get older. You realize this more and more. Let her know. She may have the usual comeback but you know it's because she loves you.
2. How are you?
Mom's are always asking about you. It seems like they want to know every little detail of your life, and most times they do. Every once in a while you should check in with Mom, because she's probably just as stressed with your problems as you are. Listen to her. Be her shoulder to cry on. She's always been that for you.
3. Let me help.
Mom does just about everything. From driving you to school, to working, to making you dinner, and she'd do it a million times over for you. Take a moment out of the day to do something for yourself that your mom would usually do. She'll appreciate the gesture more than you'll ever know. Don't simply ask if she needs help because knowing mom's she'll say no. Just go ahead and tell her you're going to help.
4. Thank you.
You're mom is a superhero. No matter what happens she's there to pick up the pieces. Do we ever take time out to think about how much our moms do for us? Probably not. Take time out to let your mom know she's the best and that you're hella' grateful for everything she does.
5. *HUG HER*
Nothing's better than a mom hug.
6. You look good today.
Mom's have a hard time feeling beautiful when they're always running themselves ragged. It's easy for them to feel like they look old and undesirable. You know your mom is gorgeous. She is half of you after all. Be that person to let her know. You may think that coming from her child, a compliment like that doesn't mean much, but trust me; she'll love it!
7. Let's hang out.
You're mom is your best friend. When we're teenagers it's weird to hang out with our moms, but after 16 you realize hanging out with your mom is way cooler than with kids you only semi-like. Take her out. She deserves it.
8. Don't worry so much.
Mom's worry about EVERYTHING, but you know you turned out to be a pretty solid human being. Let her know you're doing good. Let her know she did a good job raising you. Tell her everything's going to be okay. Mostly let her know that it's okay not to always be taking care of everyone.
9. I'm sorry.
We don't treat our mom's as well as we should. Sometimes we're stressed or tired or frustrated and it's easy to take that out on mom. This isn't the "mom I don't want to talk to you" blow-off apology. This is an honest apology because you love your mom and she means so much to you.
10. I love you.
It's simple. It's easy. Yet, a lot of the times we just blow it off. Your mom knows you love her so why do you have to say it? Sometimes just that little reassurance means the world. Your mom means so much to you. Let her know. Let her know you love her.
