10 Things Trump Has Said That Will Make You Cringe: The Man Behind The Stands

Between speaking about countries like Russia and Mexico, Hillary Clinton and women in general, Donald Trump, the republican nominee, has horrified our population and caused many young Americans to be afraid of him.

The billionaire's unique way of providing information to the voters has gotten him in trouble before, but every time he opens his mouth- it leaves people in a state of immense anger, embarrassment, and nervousness for what our country will become.

Recently, we have gotten more information on his past, and how he tries to justify what he publicly said. Perhaps people will eventually get it through their heads that he is a manipulative, selfish man.

1. “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her” (The View, 2006)

Little explanation needed. He is a perverted old man, and I will never understand why people are still thinking about voting for this guy.

2. “I mean, we could say politically correct that look doesn’t matter, but the look obviously matters… like you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”(The Strip View 2014)

Another day, another insult.

3. "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?" (Twitter, 2015 – deleted afterwards)

I don’t even want to know who gave him permission to tweet this. Besides, the majority of twitter is teenagers who can’t even vote yet- so who are you trying to impress, Trump?

4. “I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

Go ahead, build that wall, see where that gets you.

5. “I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.”

Good thing the election has nothing to do with how you feel about other peoples' appearances.

6. “Number one, I have great respect for women. I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women, more than anybody in the construction industry.”

Really? "Great respect" sure makes sense. Remember that tweet about Hillary satisfying her husband?

7. "I'm a gentleman."

At the second presidential debate, Trump said this to Hillary Clinton as a member of the town hall asked a question. This was probably the first time he didn't interrupt her and throw a tantrum about speaking time.

8. "This is locker room talk."

He denied that his remarks about sexual assaulting women were meant to be serious, he added, "you hear these things." Locker room talk? What, so bragging about sexually abusing women is a discussion to be held in a locker room, or a discussion in general?

9. "But you have people coming in and I'm not just saying Mexicans, I'm talking about people that are all over that are killers and rapists and they're coming into this country."

Building a wall will certainly get rid of those killers, huh?

10. "Sadly, the overwhelming amount of violent crime in our major cities is committed by blacks and Hispanic -a tough subject-must be discussed."

Simple fact: you can't correlate race and ethnicity with violent crime across the country. He connects it in such a blunt fashion, then claims he isn't racist. He is more concerned with blaming specific groups of people than he is with solving the problem.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
