Let’s face it, New Jersey is one of those states that is often forgotten, but those who live there could go on and on about how many great things are offered there. Yes, I am from New Jersey, and I have missed certain things about living there while I’ve been away at school for the past three months. I never thought I would miss anything about New Jersey, but some things I just need back in my life when I return home for break.

Here's 10 things you're going to miss about New Jersey when going to a school in another state:

1. Close proximity to Philadelphia

2. Wawa on EVERY corner

3. 10 diners within a 5 mile radius

4. The beach is only an hour away

5. Fresh produce is easily accessible

6. Not having to pump your own gas

7. It is acceptable to drive in the right lane

8. No crazy weather patterns

9. New York City is a train ride away

10. The pizza is like no other
