1. You have a curfew even though you’re now an independent, real grown up who’s been calling the shots for the past year.
College: *out until 2 am*
At Home: ”Be home by 10 pm if you don’t want to be in trouble”
2. You catch yourself asking your parents to do basically ANYTHING.
Borrow the car, if you’re allowed to eat any food, if you can go hang with friends, if you can stay out
3. You visit your old high school and love to interrupt your favorite teacher’s classes to say, "Hi."
Not only do you feel like the Queen of the Entire School, you’re also looked upon as a minor celebrity when you come back and let’s be honest, you like that attention
4. You realize that unless your old high school squad still hangs or if you have friends from college in the are, you’re bored to DEATH.
At college, you basically live with all your best friends and were never too far away from them. They were your main source of entertainment and were never bored. Now that you're home, who's gonna talk to you and binge watch Netflix with you?
5. The shower pressure is so much better at home than at school and if you had a community bathroom, you don’t have to wear your shower shoes.
Honestly, it’s one of the best perks of coming home. It’s the little things, ya’ll!
6. You probably go back to working whatever job you left when you went off to college.
But you’re working more hours now since you have more time. It's not a bad thing since you have to get money somehow to pay for those late night Cookout runs when you get back #BrokeCollegeStudent
7. If you have a pet back at home, you finally get to have endless cuddle sessions.
Making up for the time that you were in school and deprived of seeing your furry friend
8. Two words: Home cooking.
The dining halls ain’t got NOTHING on a home cooked meal.
9. You finally get to sleep in your own bed in your own room that doesn't resemble a small closet.
No more sharing a cramped room and sleeping on a lame Twin XL bed!
