College: endless freedom. No more chores or curfews; heck, there do not even have to be teachers or books in the equation if you so choose (at your own risk).
And remember when you told your parents you would never get homesick or come to visit? Well sometimes the comfort of home cannot be replaced, and there were certain things you had no idea you would eventually miss.
1. Not having to walk outside in between classes during the winter.
2. When you could take a shower WITHOUT "shower shoes."
3. The coziness of your bed at home.
4. Driving down the road, windows down, and radio turned up.
5. When grades did not completely hold the future.
6. Life before the freshman 15 was a concern.
7. Mama's home cooking.
8. All your friends going to the same school.
9. A big enough closet.
10. Seeing your dog every single day.
But then you go home for a weekend and by the end are not sure why you missed such things. At which time you cannot wait to come back to campus.
