10 Things Everyone Misses About "Laguna Beach"

"Laguna Beach," the real "O.C.," was by far the greatest reality television show of the 2000s. The people were perfect, the location was amazing, and they made high school look like one hell of a good time. Everything from the trips they took to their style was what every high school student dreamed their lives could be like. Let's throw it back to some of the most missed things from "Laguna Beach."

THE THEME SONG

Thanks for letting the rain fall down, Hilary! When this song came on, you instantly knew "Laguna Beach" was coming on.

THE LOVE TRIANGLE

Everyone other than LC, Stephen, and Kristin are irrelevant in this picture. Just looking at the three of them standing next to each other brings back all the juicy drama and tension. Definitely one of the best looking love triangles to ever grace our TV screens.

"I just hate Lauren. She needs to go out of my life." -Kristin Cavallari.

Ouch, Kristin, that was harsh.

LC AND LO'S FRIENDSHIP

Two peas in a pod. These two always had each other's backs, no matter what. They were everyone's favorite duo. #friendshipgoals

PROM

All the boys asked the girls to prom in the cutest ways! If only every guy put in as much effort as the LB guys did when it was prom time. Trey really outdid himself when he asked his girlfriend to prom by spelling out the word in lights with roses around it.

I'm still waiting for a prom proposal like that.

THE CABO TRIP

LOL, remember this drama-filled episode? Kristin was just trying to have a good time, Stephen. Let her live!

THE LINGO

Dunzo, sketchy, gnarly. If you didn't already use these words, then you instantly started using them after watching this show. So west coast. So cool.

KRISTIN'S HONESTY

God, Jessica, why didn't you ever listen to Kristin when she warned you about Jason? Nothing was more frustrating/annoying than their relationship. Thankfully, Kristin kept it real and always let Jess know how it is.

THE PARTIES

LC, what's in that red solo cup? No wonder there was also so much drama at the parties and bonfires, everyone was drunk! You guys thought you had us fooled. Anyway, there was never a dull moment at the parties, and unfortunately, most of them ended with LC left behind to watch Kristin and Stephen leave together. That was always a bummer.

THE BOYS

Years later, and the boys of the real "O.C." still get you all hot and bothered. These boys made every girl want to transfer to Laguna Beach High School.

GRADUATION

When they graduated, you graduated with them. If you didn't cry during this episode, you probably don't have a soul. You became attached to their lifestyle and drama. It was sad to see season one and the originals go off on their separate ways.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
