If you're a Houston Cougar, here are a few things we all know to be true.

1. Cougar Woods is a million times better than Moody.

2. The fountain will never be fixed.

But when they do put water in it, it is one of the most beautiful places on campus.

3. The Starbucks in the UC is always busy. No exceptions.

Come on people, I just want my nonfat latte.

4. Parking is a nightmare.

5. Fiesta is the best time of the year.

6. Campus is dead on the weekends.

7. The origin of the cougar hand sign.

In 1953, Shasta lost a toe in his cage door. When UT fans made fun of Shasta by lowering their ring finger, UH students adopted the hand sign to show their pride.

8. Where the food trucks will be on each day of the week.

9. Walking to Garrison CASA takes a little piece of your soul every time you go.

10. Living in Houston is tons of fun.

There is always something new and exciting to do.
