With finals coming to a close, college students could not be more excited for summer. Warm weather, good vibes and no school sounds perfect right about now. However, a care-free summer for college students is rarely the truth. Whether you are working all summer, going on vacation or taking classes, don't forget to have a little fun this summer with this bucket list that won't break the bank either.
1. Go to a drive-in movie theater.
If there's one in your area it is worth the trip out to go to a drive-in movie theater. Stuff the back of your car with sleeping bags, pillows and blankets and get ready to enjoy a movie in the nice outdoor air from the comfort of your car. It's like the 50's never ended!
2. Stargaze.
There is nothing more peaceful than spending a night under the stars, listening to the crickets chirp and just enjoying being outdoors. Who knows, maybe you'll even see a shooting star.
3. Treat yourself to some ice cream.
Bikini bodies will just have to wait. After a long, stressful semester, there is probably nothing you want more than going to your favorite ice cream shop and just digging in. You'll be glad you did.
4. Take a road trip.
There is no better feeling in the summer than driving around with your windows down. You don't even have to go far, just drive and enjoy the view, the weather and the carefree lifestyle for awhile.
5. Go on a picnic.
Pack up a meal for you and some friends, family or a significant other, and head to a local park for some nice food and weather. Or, grab deli sandwiches to go and just enjoy nature!
6. Have a beach day.
Pack up the car and head to the beach! Whether you're there all day in the sun or go for a nighttime cook out, the beach is always worth the trip.
7. Have a water balloon fight.
What better way to de-stress and cool off than chucking water balloons at your friends?
8. Make a scrapbook.
Oftentimes we are so busy throughout the year that we don't have time to sit down and compile all of our memories from the year. Take that time now during the summer to put together a scrapbook of memories. Not a fan of scrapbooking alone? Make it into a girls' craft day and do it with your friends!
9. Attend an outdoor concert.
Nothing is better than being outside and watching your favorite artists on stage. Look for concerts coming to your area this summer and buy the tickets now.
10. Roast S'mores.
Last, but certainly not least, have a fire and roast some s'mores! Get all your friends and family together, and have a fire. There is no better way to spend a summer night.
