So it is getting close to the end of the semester and snow should be on the ground, but it seems it is not cold enough for the rain to freeze so we just have puddles to enjoy! You would think people would be happy that there is no snow in the ground right? However, some people are complaining and have always complained about the rain....WHY!? A rainy day is the best day someone could possibly have! Yes I am someone who enjoys the rain every time it happens and sometimes people just hate the rain and I don't know why! Here are some amazing things I do when the rain happens to fall on any day of the week!

1. Listen to it.

Have you ever just sat there in your room and listen to the sound of rain hitting the glass? Not the hard rain, but the smooth hitting rain that just sounds like light tapping noise that can sooth you to sleep? If you have never waken up to the rain or listened to it soothe you to a peaceful place!

2. Play acoustic music.

Spotify, Pandora, or even YouTube has some acoustic songs that you like to enjoy to compliment the soothing sound of the rain in the background. Have a guitar that has been sitting there that you never learned how to play? This would be the perfect time to even teach yourself how to play acoustic music so you can have a singing session by yourself or with friends!

3. Read!

No, I do not mean a textbook because those are boring and cause way too much stress on anyone. So I suggest picking up that book you ordered on Amazon and had to put on hold because school work got in the way.

4. Drink some tea/coffee.

Yes, you can drink coffee or tea every day, but there is something about being in your favorite pjs or pants or outfit while drinking your favorite drink with no rush in the world or fear in the world.

5. Stand in it!

I don't know about you, but I just love the feeling of standing in the rain and just having fun! I feel free in this world when the rain hits my face or my skin.

6. Take a nap!

Remember when I said it just so soothing to listen to the rain? TAKE A NAP! Put that acoustic music on, take out that comfy blanket, and just sleep with the best feeling ever!

7. Cuddle (if you can!)

You can cuddle with your boyfriend, girlfriend, or hell even your best friends! If you can relax by yourself in peace, think of how relaxing it can be with the people you love cuddled up with you to just relax!

8. Have a coloring session!

I mean you can color whenever you want, but if you are going to relax-get the color app or grab some adult coloring books and have fun! You relax from coloring and relax from the rain so why not combine both and enjoy your time!

9. Movie marathon!

Can't sleep? Find your favorite movies and just do it! Watch all of the Avenger movies, Twilight, Harry Potter-anything! Grab that drink with your snack and just have fun with it!

10. Venting!

This is one of my favorite things in the world. When you vent you get so tensed up that you cannot relax after it happens. When it happens on a rainy day, you can yell and get it all out and than afterwards do the above things and relax for just a little bit.

This is my ultimate list of things I love to do when I can actually enjoy a rainy day. I know some happen during the school week so it is hard to do all of the above so pick your favorite one! This is my list and it helps me every time so the next time you hate the rain, just come back in your room and relax before you miss a moment that could change your life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
