Just 10 thank-yous aren't nearly enough for all you are and all you have done. Putting up with me for 10 years definitely deserves an award. Not many people make it nearly as long as we have and we still have a while to go.

Here are 10 thank-yous I don't thank you enough for.

1. Thank you for always making me laugh

Even during some of the worst times, you always find a way to make me laugh. I can walk in with no abs and leave with a six pack because of your jokes. Who knew I would be lucky enough to have a comedian as a best friend.

2. Thank you for always keeping it real

Even when the truth hurts, you tell me how it is. You’re never afraid to tell me what you’re thinking or putting in your two cents; despite me not always going with what you're saying, I still listen.

3. Thank you for coming to me when you need me

I come to you and you come to me. I am glad that you know you can come to me whenever you need anything and I will be there ready to help.

4. Thank you for believing in me

I have had some wild thoughts and so have you. I am thankful that whenever I have started something new or have thought about going through with something, you have believed in me and pushed me to continue my dreams.

5. Thank you for being weird with me

We are some of the most quirky people I have ever met. I think if there was an award for being quirky, we would be first place. We make people laugh with our weirdness, and it may be because they are terrified or find us weird; but hey, we make people laugh.

6. Thank you for loving my family like your own

You’re someone that not only I adore but so does my family. I’m glad you randomly stop by just to talk to my mom and that you even tell her the latest gossip before I get the chance to.

7. Thank you for all the memories

Because of you, I have so many stories to tell my other friends and even my future kids. Those times wouldn’t have been even close to as good without you. We have so many inside jokes and stories, that if we sat down to write a book, we would walk out with at least three.

8. Thank you for keeping me in the loop

We are a couple hours away now, but I am glad you still text and call me with news. Even when it is just to send me a gif or meme on how you're feeling or what you're doing, it makes me happy. I like knowing what is going on in your life and I am glad you give me the chance to know.

9. Thank you for never leaving my side

We have been miles apart, in different time zones apart, and you have never left my side. You have always been willing to make our friendship and have never given up on friendship. We have gone months without talking, but the second we talk again, it is like we never stopped.

10. Thank you being being YOU

I could not ask for a better best friend. You're the perfect combination of caring, quirky, wild, and all that you are. I am truly blessed to have someone like you because you're one in a lifetime. I hope you know how thankful I am for you and all you do.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
