The summer has finally arrived! Can I get a hallelujah, A-friggin-men? If you’re in the same mindset as I am this summer, then you are sick of worrying and so very ready to relax. I spent the better part of the year consumed by anxiety: worrying about school, friends, finances and life in general and, let me tell you, I am done. Obviously, I still have responsibilities, a job -- the usual college kid's summer shenanigans -- however, I’ve decided to take a much more lackadaisical approach to my summer. I want to enjoy my time off from school and recover from the hard work and stress I had to endure. So, without further ado, here are some songs to help you kick-off a super summer.

1. Love$ick: Mura Masa and A$AP Rocky

This clever merging of alternative electronic and hip-hop is sure to get you pumped for beach days and sun rays. Also, who doesn’t love some good A$AP Rocky? You can find the song here.

2. Electric Touch: A R I Z O N A

Want a funky, feel-good song? Look no further than this catchy melody paired with little spurts of beat bumping this song is sure to turn any frown upside down. You can find the song here.

3. Symphony (Remix): Shaun Reynolds, Red

We all know this tune, originally by Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson, but this fresh take brings it to the next level. I can’t help but get the summer lovin’ feelings when I listen to this song. Let’s hold hands and walk down the beach. You can find the song here.

4. Whippin: Kiara (feat. Felix Snow)

I LOVE THIS SONG. Not only does she diss those mean boys but the song is just so catchy. I just want to drive, windows down, going fast and on my way to the beach. Yay, summer! You can find the song here.

5. Feel Good: Gryffin and Illenium (feat. Daya)

This is what summer is all about right? Feeling good. This song makes me want to quit worrying so much about the future and just enjoy the moments I have with the people I care about. #summergoals You can find the song here.

6. Thunder: Imagine Dragons

Here we’ve come to my own official summer anthem. This song is just the embodiment of what I want this summer to be for me. The lyrics just scream, “Look at me now,” and after all the stress I went through during the school year I feel like I won a major battle in the war that is college. I deserve this super fun summer and I’m about to bring the thunder. You can find the song here.

7. Young and Menace: Fall Out Boy

First off, hey there" Fall Out Boy," I missed ya.' Second, this song is the bomb. "Fall Out Boy" has taken their already unique, alternative sound and added the modern electronic beats to make this incredibly catchy, exciting music and I am here for it. You can find the song here.

8. Chasing Highs: ALMA

This song is so flipping catchy and I love the lyrics that discuss slow love and feel good vibes. Even if you don’t have anyone special, it’s summer so no worries and should someone special come along, why rush anything? Take it slower, feel it deeper and chase those highs. After all, we’re young, let’s just be young. You can find the song here.

9. Despacito (Remix): Louis Fansi and Daddy Yankee (feat. Justin Bieber)

Looking to learn some Spanish this summer? Well, even if you’re not, this song is super catchy and Justin kills it, not only vocally but in his execution of the Spanish language. Go Biebs, I see you. Also, the entire song discusses slow loving. Ay, bendito. You can find the song here.

10. Dreamer: Charlie XCX, Starrah and Raye

Love the lyrics and the beat to this song. The summer is all about dreaming big and living large, thanks for the reminder Charlie! Dare to dream, guys now is the time. You can find the song here.

Hopefully one of these songs fits your summer aesthetic. I know they’ll be bumping in my speakers all summer long. If not, then just remember to enjoy the summer and make the most of your time off. This is your time to chillax; do that. No stress, no worries, Hakuna Matata.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
