With Halloween officially behind us and Election Day coming and going, we are now at the point where weare starting to think about Thanksgiving and how we get to leave on break soon and shortly after...CHRISTMAS!! I love Christmas and recently, I've been to stores where they had their Christmas decorations already on display since mid-October. This is so exciting!! If you are as excited as I am, check out these 10 signs.
1. Starbucks Red Cups
You know the season has officially started when Starbucks brings out the red cups. Picture this: a steaming peppermint mocha in a perfect red cup. What more could you ask for?
2. Bath and Body Works has started selling all of their Holiday scents
I don’t know about you, but I bought my twisted peppermint lotion a month ago. I’m just way too obsessed with these scents. Anything Christmas related is bound to smell amazing.
3. Christmas music is playing on the radio
Okay, maybe it’s not actually on the radio yet, but I know you’ve already whipped out all of the Christmas CDs you own. I mean, Halloween has been over for what, like two and a half weeks now? It’s definitely okay to start listening to your Michael Buble Christmas CD.
4. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fast approaching
Stock up on all of the Christmas gifts you can. And guess what, when you think you’re done shopping for everyone, think again. I’m sure you left out your third cousin Jane or your great uncle Bob who lives in Florida. Spreading the joy one long-lost relative at a time.
5. You’ve already started searching Goodwill for the perfect ugly Christmas sweater…Or maybe multiple ugly sweaters
Tis the season for ugly sweater parties. Let’s get dressed up to get messed up.
6. You’ve stalked the 25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family lineup already
You’re ready with a different movie every single night of the week. Never too much "Elf" and "Snowglobe!"
7. You can’t find a place to park at the shopping malls.
You to the mall for a simple errand and realize that the holiday shopping has set in with packed stores, long lines, and no place to park. You wheel out of the parking lot in terror and go to Target instead.
8. Everyone starts to freak out about finals
It’s like Thanksgiving break rolls around and then we come to class for a week and then BAM it’s the dreaded finals time. A time in which no person or thing will ever prepare you.
9. Christmas Candy
All of the Halloween items start transitioning into Christmas items. Instead of Reese’s pumpkins, there are Reese’s Christmas trees. Red and green M&Ms. And we can’t forget the most important: Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes!
10. And finally…snow!
White stuff starts falling from the sky and it automatically feels like Chirtmas!
‘Tis the season!
