Yes, there is a really good chance that your big has referred to you as her child. Don’t deny that there’s been numerous moments when she’s called you ‘child’, ‘little one’, or some other variation of the sort.

It doesn’t matter if it's grades, your new boyfriend, or what you’re doing at any given time. She’s on it and she must always know.

When mom isn’t there to meet and greet a potential/new boyfriend, your big steps in and her approval is almost essential. If big doesn’t like him, it’s almost always a no-go.

Even if you don’t realize it, you really want to make your big proud. You’ll find yourself wondering from time to time if a specific action would do the trick and when it does it’s such a rewarding feeling.

Just like mom would, your big gets excited over your accomplishments and she often shows you off to everyone with a pulse any and every chance she gets. Even if it’s something little, everyone knows about you.
7. She’s Protective
She is the mother bear and you are her cub. She’s always looking out for you and always has your back and best interest in mind. If anyone so much as looks at you funny, she strikes and it could get ugly.
8. You Go to Her For Advise
When your mom isn’t there, you go to your big and she would never lead you astray. She has experience under her belt and will be more than happy to help you whenever the time calls for it.
9. She Bends Over Backward For You
Your big would do anything for you. If it's homework help, a ride home from a party, even if you need an extra dollar at Starbucks, she's got you covered.
