Colder weather is approaching, which means you need to stock your list with new shows to hibernate with. Take a scroll through some of my personal favorites and you may find your new series of choice.
1. "Bob’s Burgers"
"Bob’s Burgers" is easily one of the funniest shows on Netflix. Following along with the same humor seen in "The Simpsons," "Family Guy," and "American Dad," but slightly less crude. "Bob’s Burgers" is good to watch on any occasion.
2. "Parks & Recreation"
The best. You can probably relate a little bit to every character in this series. With Leslie’s ambition to follow her dreams, Tom’s goals of entrepreneurship, Ann’s friendship loyalty, Donna’s fabulousness, Andy’s ways of being a professional adult/child, April’s loathing for...well, everything, Ben’s support for his love, Jerry’s tendency to goof up, Chris’ upbeat personality, or Ron’s love for brunette women and breakfast foods. Very quotable, very funny.
3. "Blue Mountain State"
Anytime you feel like channeling your inner college kid, just put on some BMS. Totally unrealistic, very entertaining. Guys love it because it’s all football, drinking, and girls; girls like it because Thad Castle.
4. "New Girl"
Yet another fantastic show by Fox; "New Girl" is a show that has a little something for everyone. Definitely hilarious and addicting.
5. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"
More on the strange side than anything else, but I definitely finished the first season in a day. Titus Andromedon is my spirit animal.
6. "Orange is the New Black"
If you haven’t jumped on the OITNB bandwagon yet, you need to get movin’, honey.
7. "Pretty Little Liars"
One of those shows that you don’t want to admit that you love, but you totally do.
8. "House, M.D."
An older show which most people watched in it’s prime, but a good one to pull all-nighters watching.
9. "Master of None"
Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang’s new show is actually pretty good. I shamelessly binged the first season in two days.
10. "Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown”
Look around the world with Anthony Bourdain as he explains culture through food, music, customs, and just about everything you can experience when traveling.
