Finally, it is Rutgers Spring Break and if you are not going to the Bahamas or another cool destination, you are probably wondering how you are going to spend your time for the next seven days. Well, just for you and just for this very useful article, I have binge-watched quite a few shows to suggest for you this spring break.
5. "Skins UK"
Rating: 9 out of 10
Duration of episodes: 30 to 60 minutes
Number of episodes: 61
Review: This raunchy teen drama is set in modern day Wales in the United Kingdom. Every other season starts off with a fresh cast. Each cast seems to get themselves into pretty sketchy situations. Filled with sex, drugs, and British humor, you will need less than a week to finish this series.
4. "Breaking Bad"
Rating: 10 out of 10
Duration of episodes: 60 minutes
Number of episodes: 62
Review: If you have not heard about this AMC drama, you should probably get out from the rock you have been living under for the past five years. A cancer-ridden high school science teacher finds himself as a meth lab orchestrator when he believes there is nowhere to turn. Although you might not be able to finish it in just a week, you will more than likely neglect all school work until completed
*Proceed with caution*
3. "House of Cards"
Rating: 8 out 10
Duration of episodes: 60 minutes
Number of episodes: 52
Review: If you are not into political dramas, I would probably steer clear of this series. If you are, log into your Netflix account right now. The secret life of fictional politicians is revealed in this Netflix Original Series, having just released its fourth season. Of course I had to spend the week before Spring Break to binge-watch the latest season.
2. "New Girl"
Rating: 9 out of 10
Duration of Episodes: 30 minutes
Number of Episodes (on Netflix): 94
Review: I finished this series in a good three days. The episodes are super easy to get through and I never felt the need to stop watching. This fun-loving cast will make you wish that you were a dysfunctional twenty-something with no money living in California.
1. "The Office"
Rating: 12 out of 10
Duration of Episodes: 30 minutes
Number of Episodes: 201
Review: This was the best 6,030 minutes I have ever spent on anything, ever, in my entire life. There is absolutely no character that you will not fall in love with. I have actually watched the whole series more than twice all the way through, but I won't release the actual number. I still text my brother quotes from the series on a daily basis. You will not regret watching this.
I hope you all have a happy, healthy, and safe Spring Break. Whether it is spent on sandy white beaches or your sandy white sheets, it shall be lit.
