There were many amazing and awesome moments this summer that I'll remember for the rest of my life. But unsurprisingly, I got really bored ... really quickly. I spent a lot of days by myself (well, with my dog Frankie too) in the comfort and safety of my home. I discovered that boredom leads to two things: becoming a couch potato or complete randomness. So, here are the top 10 relatable things I'm sure we've all done this summer when boredom set in.
1. Binge-watching television shows on Netflix.

2. Re-watching movie series.

3. Taking photos of your pet.

4. Lots and lots of doodling.
Mindless drawing is one of the greatest ways to pass the time.
5. YouTube videos become your life.
YouTube videos are absolutely amazing — and are so easy to binge-watch ... Hours can be spent, mindlessly watching YouTube series.
6. Sleeping is always great.
You know those days when you've done absolutely nothing, and yet you're still tired? Or when most of your day is spent sleeping? I've had way too many days like those ...
7. Cleaning and organizing become your best friend.
Sometimes, the boredom hits you hard. And the only thing that you can do is find ways to be productive. So what do you do? Clean your house, organize that messy drawer, do your laundry and put things away!
8. Looking at tattoos.
I have a Pinterest board for my tattoo ideas... Granted, I don't actually have any tattoos whatsoever. But I want one! And there are some pretty amazing designs out there!
9. You have dance parties with yourself.
Praise the music gods who put together Spotify playlists! I will forever jam out to their amazing EDM song options.
10. You're bored enough to write about it.
Yup. You know you're bored when you write about what you do when you're bored...
I think boredom is great though! You get to discover weird and random things that are actually fun to do — well, in my opinion! Boredom is natural. Everyone gets bored. And while my summer has been amazing, I did enjoy those days of laziness and boredom!
