10 Reasons Your Best Friend Is Actually Your Soulmate
Kristi L Flummer

Your best friend is actually your soulmate if you can relate to the following 10 reasons:

1. You can have a full on conversation with each other without using words, and no one has any idea what you two are talking about.

That is what makes it truly great because you can make fun of people without them having a clue about it. Eventually, they give up caring anyway.

2. They do not judge you in your worst times.

Whether you haven't showered in a few days or you're black out drunk from drinking way too many buckets at the bar. They still hang out with you and act like those things never happened... unless they can't let you live it down. The good part? They're still your friend after all of that.

3. They are there for you in your lowest moments.

Maybe that boy broke your heart again or you failed a test you studied really hard for. Maybe you're just being a bitch for no reason. They are still there as an ear to vent to and a shoulder to lean and always cry on.

4. You have a hard time having conversations with other people because you just wish it was your best friend.

Other people don't get your jokes like your best friend. You're constantly thinking about certain innuendos that would be perfect, but only your best friend would understand.

5. They always have your back.

If you don't like someone, your best friend definitely does not like them. If someone tries to fight with you, you can always count on your best friend to be right there to defend you.

6. You can trust them with your life.

You have probably already told them your deepest, darkest secrets and if they told anyone, you would basically be screwed. You can go to them about anything and trust that they will respect you in the end; they wouldn't dare tell a soul.

7. You have fun doing basically nothing.

You can be sitting there, showing each other hilarious memes on your phone and be completely content doing so. You make funny noises and say weird things, and you both laugh at how weird you both are.

8. You miss them as soon as you are apart.

You might stay with your family over break, but all you're wishing is to be back with your best friend. You feel like a part of you is missing when they aren't there.

9. You enjoy the same things.

I mean if it weren't for any similarities, would you two even be friends? Maybe you both enjoy adventures, chinese food and dancing. But you also both enjoy a good pizza with some netflix oldies.

10. They motivate you while also grounding you.

Basically, they push you to be the best you are but aren't afraid to tell you the truth. They want you to become successful, but they will tell you if you aren't making the best decisions. Like having that third lemon drop when you know you have to get up early... okay... maybe that's okay.

Your best friend is a part of you that you simply cannot live without...they know too much.

--Not as though we're willing to give them up anytime soon, to begin with.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
