Everyone's anticipating the upcoming summer break, but we hate to leave behind the amazing friendships we've made. Because we were thrown together in a strange city in a new school where we didn't know anyone, we've made best friends very quickly, and it's hard to leave those friends. 1. Having to figure out what is yours or what you stole
We all have that one top we know is theirs but we love it too much to give it up.
2. Figuring out how much money they owe you
You constantly borrow money from each other, but you know they will need to borrow from you tomorrow.
3. Realizing that you’ve been taking them for granted this whole time
It’s like they are your best friend and your boyfriend all at the same time.You’re scared to admit you actually like them as a person.
4. Being torn as you are going to be able to see your best friend at home
As you say goodbye to each other, you know you’ll be running into the arms of your best friend at home.
5. Realizing that your friends back home won’t understand your inside jokes from college and vice versa
You’ve been separated for so long and so much has happened that you don’t know where to start explaining.
6. Finding someone new to pick on
Nicknames are a part of any friendships that truly matter, and for a whole Summer you’ll miss calling them by the hundreds of nicknames you've created especially for them.
7. Being happy classes are drawing to a close, but so is your time together
Classes are ending, you’re going home, but so is your best friend. You’re excited for this well deserved break, but you’re dreading your separation.
