When you are in an awful relationship for almost two years you miss out on so many great things, when you finally realize that that's not what you want and finally decide to let go of that person, your life instantly gets so much better. I got out of that relationship about 7 months ago and it was probably the best decision I could have made.
As soon as I let that person go, I found my person. My person. The person I can trust all my secrets to. The person who has already seen me at my worse and loves me at my best. Dalton Jordan Swan. My best friend. My diary. My other half. My world. My everything. He has turned my world upside down in such a short time and I already can't see my life without him. My boyfriend means so much to me and I am so thankful for him. I have come up with some reasons as to why my "New" relationship gave me my best friend.
1.) I can tell him anything and know that he won't tell anyone. He is my personal diary and he knows more about me than anyone has ever known.
2.) I have found myself in him. He accepts me for who I am and doesn't ever expect me to change. He treats me like a princess and I couldn't ask for anyone better.
3.) His family has welcomed me into their home and lives so quickly and they are so great. They just make it so easy to spend everyday with this boy and they already treat me like I am a part of their family and I am so grateful for them.
4.) He is so great with my family. He fits in my crazy family like a missing puzzle piece. He can walk right into my house and know that he is welcomed and loved by my whole family. Especially my little sister Carlie. Carlie adores him and thinks he is the world. He just fits in so well.
5.) He accepts my weird flaws and thinks I am perfect. Every weird thing that I do and weird thing that I am scared of, he is there and I know that he loves me, despite all of my flaws.
6.) He makes me so happy and just everything he does is perfect. He treats me so good and I never realized that I was missing out on something as great as him. He makes me feel like I'm unstoppable. Before I met him, I couldn't see my future playing out successfully then when I met him, I started to see myself succeed and be happy and just having a good future. And I know that he will be a part of it.
7.) He is so cute and perfect that I am almost jealous of him. He has perfect eyes and the cutest nose and just everything about him is great. He also has these perfect dimples and a beautiful smile. I just think he is perfect and I am so glad that I get to be the one that he loves.
8.) I see things when I am with him. I see that he really loves me and I can see that he genuinely cares for me. I can see that I can make him happy. I could see that he is my future. I could see that we are perfect for each other. He opens my eyes to a lot of things.
9.) We support each other through everything. We are a team now. We have each others backs from now on. We are together. We are each others backbone. We have to support each other, through good and bad. We have to love each other through anything. And I have never been more thankful to know that he is on my side. I love him so much.
10.) He makes me so incredibly happy and I cannot thank him enough for being so great. I have never met someone who I just instantly clicked with. Now, just a little under 3 months in, and he is my whole world. He has changed my life and my whole outlook on it. And I am so thankful for everything. I am so glad that he is mine and I cannot believe how lucky I am to get someone as great as Dalton. I love you so much and I cannot wait for all of our future together.
When I first met him, he was just some random person and I never thought that he would become such a big part of my life. I am so thankful for all the memories and everything he has done for me.

I love how you are the perfect height that when you lay your head on me you can feel my heart. I love your smile. Your smile is the mosttt gorgeous thing I have ever seen. And your eyes! Let me tell you about your eyes! Those are some gorgeous eyes!!! I love you so much. There is nothing that I don't love about you. You mean so much to Me and I am so glad I have you in my life.
