1. Seeing your friends every day.
At school you are literally surrounded by your best friends at all hours to the point where one hour of alone time feels like too much.
2. The infinite amount of things to do.
It’s so hard to get bored when you are on a college campus. Between tanning on the lawn, studying with friends at the café, mom-walking around the beautiful brick paths, joining friends for a game of beach volleyball or even just curling up with coffee and Netflix at one of the many coffee spots, it is almost impossible to get bored on campus.
3. The meal plan.
What do you mean all of the food is free? (To you at least). There is always every option available for every kind of taste palette. Whether you’re in the mood for a sandwich, a slice of pizza or a nice salad, your dining swipes have got you covered.
4. The parties.
Must I say more? Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Tuesday nights are quite some fun in addition to the "darties" on Saturdays. The frats and club sports have always got your weekend social life covered.
5. No rules.
You are your own parent and you set your own curfews and deadlines. You dictate what needs to be done.
6. The aesthetic.
The brick paths. The beautiful fountains. The bright flowers planted everywhere you look. The freshly groomed vibrant green grass. The beautiful big brick buildings. The campus is truly picture perfect at every angle and just a minute outside can put a smile on your face.
7. Living with your best friends.
Whether it be in a dorm, an apartment, a sorority house or even just a house, living with your best friends is a time like no other.
8. Getting out of your hometown.
It’s so much fun being in a town that you’re not too familiar with. When you’re at home, all the drama from growing up follows you around. It’s such a breath of fresh air going somewhere else where the culture is completely different.
9. Having a routine.
Having a routine is so much easier than waking up everyday and not knowing what is going to happen. Having a routine keeps you busy and keeps your priorities in check. You go to class, eat between class A and class B, eat dinner, study, relax, etc.
10. College.
College is college, and it's the best four years of your life.
