I recently stumbled upon Riverdale on Netflix and I can truly say that I'm hooked! Also, I'm sad that I have to wait for season 2 to be on Netflix since I don't have cable.

From the diverse and attractive characters to the crazy parents and mystery within the town, this show is definitely binge-worthy! Check out my 10 reasons why you should watch Riverdale too!

1. Cole Sprouse As Jughead Jones

I mean COME ON guys, if the nostalgia from remembering Cole in Suite Life of Zack and Cody isn't enough, his greaser-inspired hair and outsider perspective REALLY make you adore his character!

2. Madeline Petsch as Cheryl Blossom

Cheryl is the girl you love to hate, so much sass and drama, but you also feel bad for her because of everything that has happened. Also, I'm personally obsessed with her hair and creepy spider broach!

3. Casey Cott as Kevin Geller

Honestly, he's just so sweet and wants to help his friends! Plus, his super inappropriate relationship with a serpent is entertaining to watch!

4. Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge

Honestly my favorite character, Veronica is a great friend to those closest to her, but she still causes trouble for the people who get in her way! Also, can we just admire her sense of style for a moment?

5. KJ Apa as Archie Andrews

He's so much more than a football player with a six-pack! He's a football player with a six pack who ALSO plays the guitar and has a heavenly voice! But seriously, Archie is way more than a "hot guy" and if you watch the show you'll understand why!

6. Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper

Betty is a BIT crazy sometimes, but that doesn't matter because it adds a whole new layer to her character! Also, watching her stand up to her mom almost every episode is SUPER entertaining.

7. This Awesome Group of Friends

These five are the ULTIMATE group of detectives, friends, and all around best people, you will find at Riverdale!

8. Josie and the Pussycats

If there's an event that needs entertainers (quite frequently at Riverdale) these girls are ALWAYS on the stage! They have great voices, style, and cute cat ears and DEFINITELY add a bit more drama to the show!

9. The Parents of Riverdale

These parents cause as much (if not more) drama as their kids do and it's GREAT! This isn't just a great show because of the 20-somethings who star in it, the parents are just as entertaining as their younger counterparts!

10. Comics to TV

I think it's really interesting that the show was able to take the characters from the comics, stay true to them, but also add new layers for the show! Also, if you look at pictures of the comics you can totally see that these characters were meant to have these roles!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
