Have you ever had such a bad day that all you wanted to do was go home and cry? Yeah, me too. And sometimes it feels like nothing will make the sadness or the pain go away, but I'm here to tell you about something that will heal any wound. Laughing. Now I know, sounds crazy. But I'm telling you, its true. Have a good, real, true laugh, and you'll feel like you can conquer the world. If you're still skeptical, here are 10 reasons why you should always laugh:

1. Laughing soothes the soul.

On those days when you feel like the whole world is against you, follow these few steps and I promise you'll feel better. First, find a quiet place. Next, find a video from the funniest person you know. It could be an actual comedian or a video of a funny time with a friend. Watch the video. Watch it until you are in tears from laughing. Feel better, right?

2. Everyone looks better with a smile on their face.

If you're someone like me, a resting bitch face is inevitable. I'm pretty sure I came out of the womb looking displeased. But even I have to admit, I look a lot better when I'm laughing.

3. Everyone has different laughs.

I don't know about you, but I love hearing people laugh. I think it's one of the happiest sounds on this Earth. No one has the exact same laugh, and it's wonderful to hear them.

4. Laughing is healthy.

I'm sure you've seen articles from some of your hippy friends claiming that laughing is healthy; but its actually true! "Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease," according to Help Guide. They also say that, "Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain." So the more you laugh, the healthier you'll be!

5. It's better to laugh than be sad.

Now don't get me wrong, I believe that you should feel and express however you're feeling. And if you'd rather be sad, then by all means be sad. But, if you're having an off day and you just want to get over that bump in the road, laughing is a great way to do it.

6. You just feel better after laughing.

After a good hard laugh, you feel so much better. For me, it feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and I can finally breathe again.

7. Laughing makes those around you happy.

When you laugh, you put out positive vibes for those around you. Someone else may be having a bad day, and by seeing you happy, smiling, and laughing, it may make them feel happier. You can be a role model for others.

8. Laughing is good for your heart.

If you need another health reason, researchers have found that there is a correlation between people who laugh often and overall heart health. See, I told you it was healthy.

9. You'll have some cool reminders of all the times you've laughed.

If you're like me and you don't care about getting wrinkles, then you'll like this reason to laugh. Laughing a lot will give you those smile lines around your mouth. How cool to have a reminder of all the laughs you've had!

10. It's good to laugh.

Even without all these super awesome reasons I've listed above. Laughing is just good for you. As my second grade teacher used to say, "Turn that frown upside down.".

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
