Falling in love is a magical thing. I’m sure you’ve had dreams about the perfect relationship or maybe even marriage, but college is a time for you to think about yourself. Don’t lose yourself while looking for Mr./Mrs. Right.

1. You don't have to worry about someone else

Let's face it, you can barely deal with your own problems let alone someone else's.

2. Zero questions

There is no one nagging you about what you're doing at 3 a.m. except for maybe your roommate.

3. Twin bed all to yourself!

You can barely fit in that bed yourself. There's no need to add another person!

4. Less drama

There's no worry about what your significant other is doing or if they're being untrustworthy.


5. College is your time to be selfish

You don't need to be constantly putting the needs of someone else above your own.

6. Take time for yourself

Find happiness with yourself before you try to find happiness with someone else.

7. You have your entire life for relationships

I know the constant nagging of your family asking why you aren’t dating someone can be the most annoying question in the world, but truth is you have so much time to find the right person after college.

8. You won't get your heart broken

No one wants to feel like they wasted years of their life if your relationship comes crashing down after college.

9. You will have more time to spend with your friends

College is an amazing opportunity to build relationships that will last your entire life. Use this time to find your groomsmen or bridesmaids. You can use time later to find you groom/bride.

10. Get everything out of your system now

One night stands, hookups, partying, etc. This is the time to make stupid decisions and not seem like a terrible person. It’s okay to be wild and crazy in college, because It won’t be acceptable 10 years from now.
