10 Reasons Why You Should Re-Watch Glee This Summer
ET Online

I started rewatching Glee the other day and it just brought back so many memories - watching it with my mom and singing along, tearing up at all the sad parts, and laughing at all the jokes that I didn't really understand circa 2009. If you haven't watched Glee it's about the tragedies and tripumphs of McKinley High School glee club, the New Directions - this doesn't sound like much, but the show celebrates all things out-of-the-box. Here are the reasons you should rewatch this glee-ful show.

1. It immediately puts you in a good mood.

You will fall in love with the characters whether you like it or not.

2. They address social issues in a classy fashion.

Within the six seasons of the show, they covered everything from school shootings to homophobia to bullying and domestic abuse. They did it in a way that shows audiences how to identify an issue and then help deal with it.

3. Sue Silvester.

That name and already tons of memories are coming back, right? She was a lovable villain who made everything laugh-out-loud funny.

4. It has everything you could ask for...

Juicy drama, action, sports, musical numbers, and even priceless comedy. What more could you want?

5. Cute, hot boys? Well they've got that covered!

Literally every guy on this show is attractive - Corey Monteith (Finn Hudson), Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Mark Salling (Puck), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), and many more.

6. Beautiful, hot girls? Well they've got that covered too!

Every girl is equally beautiful as the next - Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Heather Morris (Brittany S. Pierce), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), and many more!

7. And an endless list of guest stars!

Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, John Stamos, Adam Lambert, Kate Hudson, Idina Menzel, Niel Patrick Harris, Gwenyth Paltrow, Matt Bomer, Whoopi Goldberg, and many, many more!

8. It's all about the "underdog."

The New Directions is a mash up of many completely difference people who somehow manage to fit together perfectly and come together to beat all their obstacles.

9. It teaches life lessons.

These include the ones like always being kind, to always believe in yourself, to always love yourself, to not worry about labels, to always be careful with what you say, and to not let anything or anyone get in the way of your dreams.

10. The music is phenomenal.

When the show first aired, we soon fell in love with the voices of each character. Most of our playlists came from their music selection - ranging from Journey, Britney Spears, Broadway classics, and more.

All in all, if you're feeling down or even just need something to watch, turn on some Glee because it is definitely a great choice. Choose to celebrate with the "losers" and let out your inner "Gleek!"

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
