10 Reasons I Love College

August is here and that means summer is coming to a end and fall semester is right around the corner. Fall semester means that everyone is coming back to campus for another year full of classes, late nights, football games, etc. Here are some reasons I can't wait to go back to college:

1. I Miss My Friends...A LOT

This is without a doubt the number one reason I can't wait for fall semester to start again. I'm counting down the days until classes start and I'm reunited with my friends again.

2. Football Season

Fall semester means football and tailgates, and football season is hands down one of the best parts about going to Boise State! Can I get a "Go Broncos"?

3. Syllabus Week

Also known as "sylly week" is the one week where you don't feel completely overwhelmed with homework and stress. It is literally a week filled with "Time to read the syllabus and then ten minutes later you're free to go" so enjoy it!

4. Sorority Rush

5. Buying A LOT Of Back To School Stuff

From cute new planners to new clothes, going back to school shopping is one of the best parts about fall semester starting back up.

6. New Guys

...do I need to say more?

7. Wearing Your College's T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Etc. Almost Everyday Is Completely Okay

Hey girls, Victoria's Secret just released a new line of Bronco gear so go check it out: https://www.victoriassecret.com/pink/boise-state

8. Back To School Parties

Getting everybody back together is the perfect way to kick off a new year!

9. Meeting New People

Whether it be in a class or through mutual friends at a tailgate you're bound to make new friends!

10. I Love My School

Honestly I just really love my school and the people it has brought into my life. I would not be who I am today or where I am today if I didn't choose Boise State. I could not be any more thankful or proud to be a Bronco!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
