Let's face it. Whether you love it or you hate it, most of us have probably watched an episode, or at least a few minutes of one. It's a guilty pleasure in the greatest of forms, as most reality television is. Hunky men, beautiful girls, insane dates, endless crying and even sometimes the occasional chicken enthusiast all put in one house. What's not to get addicted to? And if you go to a small liberal arts school, you may find it strikingly resembles the dating pool on campus.
We are here to tell you that you are not wrong. And this is why.
1. There are about 12 (or 28) girls to every guy.
2. The guys are all trying convince you they're good guys. Even though you saw them blackout downtown last weekend.
3. There's that one guy that all the girls go nuts for at the (maybe two) bars downtown.
4. While the last five girls he's dated watch on because we all end up at the same functions and after parties.
5. We all know an Olivia.
6. Those first impressions at freshman orientation always reveal the crazy ones.
7. You can't do anything with your significant other without someone on campus seeing.
8. Much like the end of the season proposal, girls are chasing a ring harder than their diploma.
9. If it doesn't work out, there's a 100 percent chance you'll see them with their new person of interest.
10. And eventually you realize finding true love here probably wasn't your best idea.
So here's to finding "the one" not on a campus of 2,500 students (or you know, not on TV for millions of viewers to see).
