I’ve heard people swear by McDonald’s chicken McNuggets or Wendy’s Double Bacon Cheeseburger, but if you’re going to eat fast food, you have to do it right, and that means going to Chick-fil-A. Not only does this quick and easy food destination discourage the eating of beef, but also, locations are usually family-friendly with cardboard figures of cows, as well as a children's play area available for use.
Here are ten reasons why Chick-fil-A is the best place to get fast food!
1. The Chicken Sandwich: Chicken cooked in peanut oil (sorry to those of you with allergies, but there’s really no substitute for this), as well as the bread, is so full of flavor that you don’t even need any condiments! (Comes with pickles, but I prefer without.)
2. The Milkshakes: Thick and creamy, not as malt-like as Cookout’s and not as bland as Shake Shack’s, there are “handspun” classic flavors that hit the spot! Vanilla and chocolate are always options, with the seasonal strawberry or peppermint chocolate chip.
3. The Fries: What other side dish would you ask for at a fast food restaurant? Chick-fil-A does it right again, with waffle fries, selling them in a variety of different sizes so everyone is happy.
4. The Breakfast: Have you ever heard of mini chicken nuggs on equally tiny rolls? Or the classic chicken sandwich... but on a biscuit! You can discover this and more on Chick-fil-A’s breakfast menu.
5. The Cow: Happy and easy to understand, he uses misspelled English to get by, and unless you’re at a five-star steak house in New York City, I really don’t think you should trust beef. Just think about all the problems Taco Bell has had with their “meat!”
6. The Employees: Always so happy! What better vibes to get you feeling excited to eat fast food than from the friendly people who sell it to you?
7. The Fast Service: I know I already talked about the employees, but the swiftness that the cooks in the back get your food to your table (or to-go!) is truly mind-blowing.
8. The South: Who doesn’t love a taste of the South, especially when you can get it in the North? A little bit of fried chicken and Southern hospitality, all mixed into a family owned business.
9. The Family Owned Business: Chick-fil-A is the best of both worlds because it is a chain up and down the East Coast, yet still a family-owned restaurant. This contributes to the equal service you will encounter at each location you go to; additionally, it also means the family’s Christian values kick in on Sundays, so you’ll have to wait until Monday to get your chicken sandwich fix!
10. It’s Expanding: I used to only be able to get my Chick-fil-A order once my family and I drove past Maryland, but now the franchise has caught on and there are restaurants popping up in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York!
End of the story is, if
you’re going to cheat on your diet to have fast food, you might as well do it
right. And now that you have all the facts, what’s stopping you from going to
Chick-fil-A?
