The age old debate: cats versus dogs. Who is the prime species? Who is truly "man's best friend?" As the recent owner of a puppy, I must say that I do sympathize with the dog lovers. My Sammie is truly cooler than most of the people that I know. However, I have always been, and will always be on the side of the feline. In my experience I have found several very key characteristics that come with the type of person who loves their kitty, characteristics that makes these type of people some of the most spectacular people I know.
1. Cat lovers make the best snugglers, the best huggers, and the best pamperers.
They know how to make their friends feel comfortable and loved at all times. In fact, they have that special ability to make you feel like a queen or king, because living with a cat is living with royal behavior at all times.
2. Cat lovers know how to party, and how to be wild when the occasion arises.
However, they are most comfortable and content curled up under a mountain of blankets with a cup of coffee and endless movies. This is their happy place, their Nirvana if you will.
3. Cat lovers are curious.
They search out answers to questions that people don't always think to ask, dig in places no one thinks to look. This gives them an unexplainably wise, if sometimes crazed, aura about them.
4. Cat lovers are cool, calm, collected.
Everything is always under control. No matter if the room is a mess, homework's not done, or they look like hell. Everything is a-okay as long as they are fed, well rested, and able to return to bed ASAP.
5. Cat lovers are quirky.
I promise no matter how put together a girl may seem, if she owns a cat she has a quirk. But often this quirk is the absolute best part of her.
6. Cat lovers are fierce. Really. Don't mess with them.
7. Cat lovers are appreciative.
Favors and friendship will never go forgotten by someone who is friends with the ever purring kitty in their life.
8. Cat lovers are great photographers.
Because you can't help it whenever something that cute is always just sitting there. Making that face, or that one. So many opportunities to practice the art of photography.
9. Cat lovers have great style and exude self-confidence.
They are happy in their skin and don't care what the world has to say about it. They often have impeccable posture and a fearless attitude that is visible from a mile away.
10. Cat lovers learn from their feline friends how to live like you have nine lives.
They are fearless and love to take risks. They are adventurous and unpredictable, and they often drive like maniacs.
