10 Questions I Wish I Could Ask My Dog

Everyone knows that dog's are a human's best friend. I mean, there is nobody else who loves us unconditionally even when we ignore them, sometimes, or are rude to them. But I often wonder if my dogs really loves me as much as I love them. So, here are a few questions I wish I could ask my dogs.

1. Do you only love me because I feed you?

Wait, let me rephrase that -- do you only love me because you think I feed you when, really, Mom feeds you every morning.

2. Do you understand English?

Do you really understand what we are talking about? If so, I am deeply sorry that I have talked about you behind your back. I don't have a favorite dog I promise!! I love you both evenly.

3. Do you get bored during the day?

What do you do when we aren't home? Do you really just lay there and sleep or do you guys play? That seems like a very boring life.

4. Why do you sniff other dogs butts?

Is the smell of poop enjoyable?

5. Do you even know who I am?

I hope that is a yes.

6. Do you miss your mom?

I mean, yeah, you are a part of my family, but you also have another family -- do you ever think about them? You never even got an explanation of why you were adopted.

7. Does the electric collar hurt?

If it does, I am very, very sorry.

8. Why do you sleep on my bed when you have your own very nice bed?

I know I have a comfy bed, but like I also know I kick in my sleep; doesn't that get annoying?

9. Do you get hot in the summer?

Do you ever wish you could just get rid of all your fur? it's like you are wearing a winter coat all year around. That must get very hot in the summer.

10. Do you find Chihuahuas as annoying as I do?

I, mean, they aren't even cute -- and they are loud and annoying!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
