10 PLACES I WANT TO VISIT BEFORE I DIE

Yes, I know it’s kind of morbid thinking of dying since I just turned 18, but life is so short and there are just so many things I want to do and places I want to see! There are so many places that I want to visit, but these are just my top 10:

1. SERENGETI

The Serengeti is pretty much just endless plains filled of wildlife and home to some popular endangered species. It would be so cool to go on a safari and watch all the wildlife. Plus, I have always wanted to take a picture of an Acacia tree.

2. GRAND CANYON

I have always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. Earth is just so beautiful and being one of the “Seven Natural Wonders," of course I want to go see it.

3. ABBEY ROAD


The Beatles were an iconic English rock band formed in the '60s. Their very last album was called "Abbey Road" and they crossed Abbey Road on their album cover. Of course I want to go to a place made famous by The Beatles.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

The Northern Lights are one of Earth’s natural beauties. I want to see them with my own eyes rather than in pictures. They just look so amazing and if I can get the Northern Lights in a picture I would be so happy.

5. ROMAN COLOSSEUM

The Roman Colosseum looks so cool. I am a big history geek and if there is one thing I’m excited for, it’s the Roman Colosseum. Just imagining all the things that I learned about it and then seeing it for myself literally gives me chills.

6. GREAT WALL OF CHINA

The Great Wall of China is so long that it would take one and a half years to walk the entire thing. Of course I would never walk the entire thing, but I just want to see it for myself.

7. MACHU PICCHU

Machu Picchu is an Incan fortress. The exact purpose is a mystery and it was abandoned after it was built in the 15th century. It’s up high in the Andes mountains in Peru and that hike would be so cool.

8. EIFFEL TOWER

The Eiffel Tower is so beautiful. When most people think of France, they think of the Eiffel Tower. I know for me I mostly think about the food, but I would love to go see the Eiffel Tower, especially when it’s all lit up with lights.

9. THE LOUVRE

If I went to The Louvre it would probably end up being my favorite place on Earth. I love going to museums and I'm such a geek when it comes to art and history.

10. RIO DE JANEIRO

Rio’s beautiful beaches, crazy parades, and the giant Jesus Christ statue is what Rio De Janeiro is known for. It would be so cool if I went to Rio De Janeiro, especially during their “Carnival” festival. A city filled with so much life and going to one of the world’s largest parades would be a dream.
