Throughout all of middle school and high school, I was that girl who never grew boobs. During those days, I was really insecure about being flat-chested. I thought I looked like a boy. I would always wear push-up bras, and I owned at least three bombshells from Victoria’s Secret that I would just alternate so it looked like I had a little something. As I have gotten older, I have realized that my tiny boobs are actually a blessing because there are so many perks that come with having small boobs.

  • It’s easier

As a woman with small breasts, I am thankful to be able to just walk into any store and find a bra that fits me. Of course, I love Victoria’s Secret bras because what girl doesn’t? But, I can walk into Target, Aerie, JC Penney, etc. and find a bra. Plus, I don’t need to make sure the bra has super thick straps or worry about an underwire.

  • Everything is cuter

When I go bra shopping with my girlfriends who have bigger breasts I feel so bad for them. Smaller bras have pretty lace and rhinestones on them so they are super cute, but big bras seem to be just ugly colors that never have decorations.

  • We save money!

This might be the best one. I love that I can find a bra to fit me for around $15 to $20, sometimes even $10 if they are having a sale. Women with big breasts spend so much money on bras because the cheap ones just don’t provide the support they need. I save even more money because I barely ever need to buy bras. I never grow out of them.

  • Being an athlete is way less complicated

I never need to spend a bunch of money or time finding a good sports bra. And I only have to wear one. I feel so bad for those girls that have to wear more than one sports bra when they work out just to keep their boobs held down. It is so nice to be able to go for a jog and not have them flopping around everywhere.

  • No back pain!

D-sized breasts weigh a lot. It’s nice not having that huge weight on my chest dragging me down all the time.

  • We don’t have to worry about sagging

It sometimes sucks not having boobs to flaunt, but since I have nothing there, nothing is going to sag when I get old.

  • Putting outfits together is a breeze

Small boobs go with everything! If I don’t feel like wearing a bra that day, I don’t have to. If I want to wear a cute tank top or strapless shirt, I don’t have to worry about bra straps showing. I can wear any kind of bathing suit top and I will be fine. I never have to worry about holding my boobies down.

  • Mammograms are easier

When you have small boobs, you don’t have to search as hard for lumps or abnormalities with your boobs. You can literally just cup your boob and be done.

  • We have our own club

If you have small boobs you’ve probably heard that you are part of the Itty Bitty Tittie Committee. If you haven’t heard that, now you have. You now know that there are girls out there just like you with small boobs. Some girls may be insecure about it, like I was when I was younger, but I promise little boobs are truly a blessing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
