Spring Break is a time every college students looks forward too. After a long cold winter, everyone is excited to lay out on the beach somewhere and soak up some sun cause let's face it, we all need a tan at this point. I know it doesn't so glamorous but it has its perks. Here are some of the great reason's for going home for Spring Break.
1. You get to catch up on much-needed sleep.
After completing half of a semester and some midterms, sleep is the number one thing we all need. Being home allows you to sleep how much you want in your own bed.
2. Home-cooked meals
Dining Hall food is decent but not the best thing ever. So some home cooked food by your mom is more than enough of a reason to come home.
3. Seeing your pets
They miss you, you miss them, now you can come home and show them some love.
4. You don't need to get dressed up all the time.
If you go somewhere for spring break, you have to dress up and go out and actually see people every day. At home, you can just chill out and relax in pajamas all day.
5. More time to work on that summer body
You have a solid six more weeks to work out and look amazing for summer instead of having to show it off now. Plus, you can work out this week instead of just laying on the beach and eating out.
6. Spending time with family
Your family only gets to see you a few times a year so when you go home for Spring Break you get to spend some more quality time with them. They love you more than anything in the world so appreciate the time you get with them.
7. Catching up on homework
Tests and midterms start back as soon as you get back to school so it is great to be able to be productive and get a head start on some studying. You will thank yourself later.
8. Tons of Netflix
You finally have the time to just relax and watch a new series. What more could you ask for?
9. Saving money
Spring Break trips are super expensive so you will save a lot of money that you could spend on better things later on.
