We've all wanted to be #9 every now and then.

There are so many thoughts that go through your head when sitting in class. Most of them are because of how annoyed you are. "If that person's phone goes off one more time" or maybe "can they eat any louder?" We find trends of the people in our classes.

Hopefully, you are NOT one of the 10 people you can find in every college class:

1. The late arriver

This person can usually be found wearing the same clothes as yesterday, or with some food. They will try to be extra quiet, but this usually fails as they are still huffing and puffing from their jog across campus.

2. The loud talker

There is always that one person who can't hear the ungodly volume of their own voice. This person usually finds a reason to talk during notes, exams, or class work. No amount of dirty looks or pauses from the professor will shut them up.

3. The "I have a question" every 5 seconds

This person probably has an annoying voice and a long, long arm. They constantly have something to ask even on the stupidest concepts. This person often delays class from getting out early, and the professor probably hates them more than you do.

4. The blurter-outter-er

Wanna know the ONE thing that is worse than a person who raises their hand to ask loads of questions? The person who doesn't raise their hand at all! This person usually says things when they aren't supposed to speak, and the probably get looked at 56 times per class because of their desire to receive negative attention. Did your third-grade teacher not scold you to raise your dang hang?

5. The snacker

As much as this person tries to not crinkle their chip bag, it is still making noise! They probably have a tendency to sip every last drink of their drink too. Please, please, please do not be the constant snacker that smells up the room. Rant over.

6. The whisper-er

Did you know that whispering is just as distracting and loud as regular talking? And did you know that literally everyone is looking at you, including the professor? This person probably tries to be the teacher's pet, but is low-key the worst student of them all. They also tend to sit near the front so that everyone behind them can be distracted by their hush-hush.

7. The "can you please go back"

This person probably never got the memo that you aren't supposed to copy down every single word on the board. When did we learn this? Junior high? Come on, pal. Get off your phone, and pay attention. Don't make the rest of the class awkwardly sit in silence while you take the extra 30 seconds to get every single "a," "is," or "the."

8. The scrolling maniac

This person's phone never leaves their had the entire class, even with the no technology rule. They usually get red in the face after they accidentally click on a Twitter video, and everyone looks at them. The professor may ask them countless times to put away their device, but it will never work. Why? Because they will just get out their laptop and get their fix that way. Maniacs, MANIACS.

9. The early packer

This person probably has a leg tick when they look at the clock every 2 minutes. When there are five minutes left, this person's desk is spotless. They probably get huffing mad when there is another slide of notes that the professor says is important because they have to go through all the trouble to pull out their notebook and pen once again. They probably are the first one out the door, and speed-walk to their next destination.

10. The lolly-gagger

You know those people that hang out after class? Those are the lolly-gaggers. These people probably don't feel comfortable asking questions during class, so they wait (in a line) after class to get quality time with the professor who probably just wants to punch them all and go home. People, professors have office hours for a reason! Utilize them!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
