Bonnaroo and Electric Daisy Carnival have come and gone, while Coachella is nothing but a distant memory now -- but festival season is hardly over! Here are the best 10 upcoming music festivals happening right here in the U.S. this summer!
1. Camp Bisco (July 16-18)
This 3-day electronic music festival will take place on Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Founded by the group, The Disco Biscuits, other headliners include Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, STS9, Big Gigantic, Atmosphere, and more. Attenders camp out for the 3 days and nights of music, rain or shine, with free outdoor showers. Guests rave about the fun vibe that comes with most electronic festivals, but also enjoy the more laid-back feel of the festival. If you are new to the electric music festival scene, check out Camp Bisco.

2. Lollapalooza (July 31-August 2)
One of the most famous annual music festivals in the country, Lollapalooza is held on 115 acres in Grant Park, in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Nearly 300,000 people are expected to attend this summer with nearly 150 bands including headliners such as Paul McCartney, Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Kaskade, Kid Cudi, Alesso, Dillon Francis, ODESZA, The Chainsmokers, and many more. The festival is famous for its food as well as its section "Lolla Cares", the festival's organization to raise awareness for environmental and community service causes. Lollapalooza is perfect for you if you like variety in big name artists, a huge, fun crowd, and an urban setting.

3. Mad Decent Block Party (Various dates, July 31-September 20)
This summer music festival travels to and takes place in cities all over the country. For the full summer schedule check out their website. Artist lineups vary from city to city but headliners to see this summer include the festival's founder, Diplo, along with Zeds Dead, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, Major Lazer, Party Favor, Clockworkd, Skrillex, and Riff Raff. While most of the artists are electronic, the big names will play songs you've been listening to this year along with debuts of sure-to-be-hits. The festival is short and will probably take place in a city near you so there's no excuse to miss it this summer!

4. Outside Lands (August 7-9)
Taking place in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, Outside Lands is a 3-day festival that offers a great variety in genres. Headliners include Mumford & Sons, Porter Robinson, Chet Faker, The Black Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Sam Smith, and Axwell & Ingrosso. The festival encourages guests to bike to the venue, offering a bike valet service that awards 20% plus free shipping from levi.com. 6. Burning Man (August 30 - September 7)
While many people have heard of Burning Man, the mysterious festival that takes place annually in Black Rock Desert, Nevada, no one really knows everything that goes on until he or she goes. During the week-long festival, tens of thousands of participants, "Burners", create a temporary city in the desert called Black Rock City. BRC becomes the third largest city in Nevada for this short amount of time before participants completely dissemble everything, leaving no trace. The festival is focused on community and self-expression through art forms of all kinds, including music and sculptures, and emphasizes the importance of participation and generosity from everyone. While no musical acts are confirmed yet, many world-known artists play in small nightclubs built in the city and on the main stages. To get more information you'll have to subscribe to the email list -- as the festival likes to remain mysterious to the public -- but definitely search this one in Google images. Burning Man is known for attracting a very wide variety of free-spirited people and is definitely a festival to work your way up to.

7. Electric Zoo (September 4-6)
This zoo-themed electric music festival is held annually on Randall's Island in New York City and attracts over 100,000 attenders. Headliners this year will include The Chemical Brothers, Zeds Dead, Galantis, Above & Beyond, Adventure Club, Oliver Heldens, The Glitch Mob, and Robin Schulz. One thing I love about Electric Zoo is the easy transportation -- you can easily take a subway to the base of the bridge and walk or take the bus or ferry shuttle from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Electric Zoo is a great last hurrah for your summer, but proceed with caution as this festival can be a pretty intense and intimidating.
