We all know that the weeks after Thanksgiving but before the holiday break can feel like some of the longest in the year. Luckily, everyone seems to be in a better, holiday uplifting, spirit. But, we're likely forced to continue working or studying up until the week of Christmas. Here are the top 10 things about the holiday season we can all enjoy right now to keep up that holiday cheer.

1. ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas Movies

Whether you're someone who anxiously waits for the list to come out schedule which movies you'll catch or pass on, or catch the current movie when you can, we can all agree they're a huge holiday win.


2. Cookies

One of my favorite family traditions has always been cookie baking. Not a baker? Well you can expect random cookie exchanges anytime during the holiday season!


3. Holiday Drinks

Is it just me, or did Starbucks seriously step it up this year with their holiday drinks? Eggnog Latte? Gingerbread Latte? Caramel Brulee?! Don't like fancy? There's still nothing better than hot chocolate and whipped cream.

4. Gift Exchange Preparation

DIY or expensive, there's no better feeling than watching the people you love open gifts from you that you felt were just perfect for them.

5. Treats for Breakfast

I mean seriously, when other time is it socially acceptable to eat pie and cookies at any point in the day?


6. Music

There's nothing like those holiday tunes that will put a smile on your face when you're on your way to school or work. Enjoy while you can!


7. Best Scented Candles

I don't know about you, but I could smell those holiday candles for hours. Don't feel like cookie baking? Cookie candle. Boom.


8. Fireplaces

There's something about lit fireplaces that make you want to snuggle up with a good book or movie. Tis the season!


9. The Lights

Want a free date night idea? Make some hot cocoa and walk around to check out the lights up and down the streets of your town!


10. The Style

I can't be the only one who loves warm clothing. Something about the Fall and Winter styles are just so much more trendy.
