Whether it was the first job you got or the one you make your living off of, the habits of a waitress never really go away.
1. Reassuring your friends you don't need help carrying all 17 dishes to the sink.
2. While on a date or out to eat with friends, checking to see how much they leave the waitress and then slipping a little extra in.
3. Always calling ahead whether it's a 16 top or 2.
4. Breaking yourself of the lingo has become almost impossible.
5. Avoiding going to restaurants right before it closes because you know what is said about you coming in at closing.
6. Seeing your regulars in Wal-Mart or another environment can really throw you off.
7. You’re always overly nice and respectful to other jobs involving hospitality.
8. After finishing your meal, piling your dishes in the most organized and efficient way
9. When you're in a big group and everyone insists on seperate tickets, you die a little on the inside.
10. While struggling with a table, the reassurance you get from the customer saying; "I've been in your shoes , you're doing great."
