Movies and TV shows serve to be the foundation of what kids these days call "relationship goals." No matter how many times we watch them and tell ourselves that it isn't real life our emotions a little too invested in these fictional relationships!
1. Ross and Rachel
This duo tugged on our heartstrings all 10 seasons of "Friends." From Ross saying Rachel's name at the altar when marrying another girl, Ross awkwardly freaking out finding out over the fact that Rachel was "under" him, to the overemotionally moment of them bringing Emma Geller-Green into the world. Ross and Rachel are proof that what you've spent your entire life searching for could have very well been right in front of you the whole time. As much of a roller coaster it may have been, the love these two shared was ever present in every single episode.
2. Jack and Rose
If you can hold back the tears the moment Rose had to "let go" of Jack and let him slip into the below freezing Atlantic waters, then kudos to you. "Titanic" does a wonderful job depicting just how strong and true the phrase "love at first sight" can be. When you find "the one", your heart no longer pays attention to differences such as social class, as Rose being born into wealth going against all odds and chasing the poor boy who refers to himself as a tumbleweed blowing in the wind. While the Titanic was in fact sinkable, one thing that was in fact unsinkable was their love. This is one love story we can "never let go" of.
3. Jim and Pam
The whole time we watched "The Office", we laughed until our bellies ached and wished that Jim and Pam would end up together until we could barely stand it. There is no that what these two found while working together was irreplaceable. What was once just a strong friendship mixed with a crush turned into something much more. When Jim and Pam finally became official, it was as if all of the stars aligned.
4. Zack and Kelly
The stereotypical "cool guy" in and the pretty cheerleader. What better high school relationship could there be? It seemed like every time "Saved by the Bell" fans thought they'd actually break up, the two love birds flew right back into each other's arms.
5. Eric and Donna
"Hanging out... down the street"... with "Hot Donna". "That 70's Show" shows the classic girl next door. It's clear that these two have always kind of had a thing, but it wasn't until later episodes that they had the courage to step outside the friend zone.
6. Uncle Jesse and Becky
Have mercy! What a beautiful couple this Elvis and music fanatic and talk show host made. "Full House" fans swooned each time Jesse sang "Forever" to his beloved Rebecca, and swooned more than ever when he sang the song again on the rendition of the show. While the Tanner house soon became "fuller", our hearts could never be more full of love and envy at what these two share.
7. Troy and Gabriella
New Year's Day. Basketball star, Troy, meets math geek, Gabriella, and the two strangers are forced to sing together. It was truly "the start of something new". What a coincidence when Troy returns to school after winter break to see the same girl! Ball was once life for Troy, but Gabriella changed his life and made it a "High School Musical." All three movies only made us fall more in love with the love these two shared.
8. Noah and Ally
Another case of a poor boy falling head over heels for a girl born into money. Despite the disapproval of Allie's parents, the two were crazy for each other. Though they tried to keep the two apart, by forcing her to abruptly move in the middle of the summer and hiding all 365 letters Noah wrote her while she was gone, the two found each other again. What they shared was truly a "once in a lifetime kind of love".
9. Kevin and Winnie
What can you say about Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper? Nothing can truly give these childhood sweethearts justice. The two of them shared their "Wonder Years" together, growing up and growing in love. While the unarguably emotional last episode shows that Kevin does not end up with the girl across the street, the love these two shared during the confusing years of adolescence carried into their adult life as lifelong friends.
10. Will and Lisa
Player and goofy guy from Philly comes to Bel-Air ready to smooth talk as many ladies as possible. However when he meets Lisa, the game changes. Lisa seemingly is able to change Will's womanizing ways so much that he proposes to her. After all, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" needed his princess.
11. Chuck and Blair
There's a lot we can "gossip" about in regards to this couple. After hooking up in the back of a limo, they deny just how much they actually mean to each other. It's crazy, it's unbelievable, and it's two rich kids falling in love through the ups and downs.
