10 Facts You Didn't Know About The "Teen Wolf" Cast

If you're like me and are a huge fan of "Teen Wolf" and love to know every fact about it, this is for all you "Teen Wolf" addicts. After a lot of research and discoveries, here are 10 facts about the Teen Wolf cast that will most likely shock and surprise you (except fact #1, that's something that every fan should know).

Fact #1: Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien are best friends.

Yes, your favorite boys are best friends in real life! Posey, who plays Scott McCall, and O'Brien, who plays his best friend, Stiles Stilinski, are besties. It all started when Tyler and Dylan were auditioning and Tyler went up to Dylan and asked where the bathrooms were. From that moment Tyler knew that "this dude was cool." They bonded over skateboarding and bands. When they both found out they got the roles, the producer of "Teen Wolf," Jeff Davis, said the two should hang out and get to know each other, but since auditions they've already hung out and chilled with each other. It's a bromance made in heaven.

Fact #2: Shelley Hennig is best friends with Dylan O'Brien's girlfriend.

Shelley Hennig, who plays Malia Tate, is best friends and roommates with Dylan O'Brien's longtime girlfriend, Britt Robertson. Shelley and Britt starred in "The Secret Circle" together as Cassie Blake (played by Robertson) and Diana Meade (played by Hennig). So what does one best friend do while the other is making out with her boyfriend for their television show? She watches it with her boyfriend. "It's funny, it's like huh, that's would it be like to have you cheating on me with my best friend, interesting, OK cool."

Fact #3: J.R Bourne was in "The Secret Circle."

Before he played Chris Argent, the strong werewolf hunter and loving father to Allison, J.R played a witch hunter named Isaac on "The Secret Circle," acting beside Shelley Hennig and Dylan's girlfriend, Britt Robertson. J.R knew Shelley before "Teen Wolf" even premiered it's first episode and knew Britt before she even met Dylan.

Fact #4: Crystal Reed dated Daniel Sharman.

Yes, our beloved Allisaac were actually dating in real life at one point. Crystal, who played Allison Argent, and Daniel, who played Isaac Lahey, sadly broke up before the start of season three and while I'm not sure if they were dating during the filming, which I hope they were because all that kissing would be mad awkward, they seemed to have no resentment towards each other in the show.

Fact #5: Max and Charlie Carver have different birthdays.

Twins Max and Charlie, who play Ethan and Aiden, are born on different days in different months. How cool is that? While there is only a seven minute difference, Charlie was born on July 31st and Max was born on August 1st. This must have been a huge argument when they were kids.

Fact #6: Tyler Hoechlin was one in 2000

No, I don't mean he turned one in the year 2000, by this I mean at the age of 15, Tyler was picked to play Michael Sullivan Jr. in Tom Hanks' "Road to Perdition" out of 2,000 other applicants. From his role as Derek Hale, we knew he was an amazing actor but beating out 2,000 other boys is amazing. While Tyler was one in 2,000 for his role as Michael Sullivan Jr., he is, and always will be, known as one in a million for the role of Derek Hale.

Fact #7: Holland Roden is a triple threat.

Not only is Holland beautiful and talented, she is also very intelligent. She plays Lydia Martin, who she is similar to in more ways than one. Season one Lydia acts very ditzy and dumb while in fact she is very advanced and smart. While Holland doesn't try to act oblivious and frivolous, she comes off very bubble headed. Little known fact, Holland graduated from the University of California (UCLA) in molecular biology and women's studies. I mean, I'm not sure what molecular biology really is but I can't even pass regular biology so that says something. While she is very smart, her ditzy moments never seize to make people laugh and she always takes it like a champ.

Fact #8: Tyler Posey's dad was in "Teen Wolf."

John Posey plays Conrad Fenris and if your like me, you might have no idea who that is. If you have a good memory or anyway to watch season one, Doctor Fenris is the doctor who checks Jackson's neck, you remember, that gross scene when the string of wolvesbane is extracted from Jackson's neck, yeah, that's John Posey, Tyler's dad. He was also in the "Teen Wolf" web series, "Search for a Cure," which you can watch here. John has been an actor for a while, even before Tyler was born, he was in movies such as "Manhunter" (1986), "Robocop 3" (1993) and "Legendary" (2010). Tyler followed in his footsteps and became an actor so for that, we thank you John.

Fact #9: Linden Ashby and Susan Walters are married

Linden Ashby, who plays Sheriff Stilinski, has been married to Susan Walters, who plays Natalie Martin for almost 30 years after meeting on set of the TV show "Loving." Going into season six, it is still unknown who Sheriff Stilinski will end up with. As of now it's between two women, Natalie Martin, Lydia's mom, and Melissa McCall, Scott's mom.

Fact #10: Dylan Sprayberry's older brother has cerebral palsy.

Dylan Sprayberry plays the troublesome Liam Dunbar but before he came to Beacon Hills, he played young Clark Kent in "Man of Steel." During an interview with MTV for his role in the film, he was asked what the most heroic thing he's ever done was. His answer surprised me and made me respect him even more. "I don't know, um, probably, actually something in this movie. No, uh ... I think that I give a lot of, actually my brother has cerebral palsy, which is a mental disability." You can read the rest of the interview here. You can never tell someone's background just by looking at them, even though someone's life seems magical, they're humans just like you and me.

I hope you've enjoyed the article and have learned some fun facts! MTV's "Teen Wolf" will be back on November 15 for it's sixth and final season.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
