It’s a great day. You’re parents just told you they are taking you to Disney World! But there is one small problem, the trip is months away! Now there is nothing to do, but experience a wide range of emotions while you wait for your dream vacation.
1. Excitement
Whether you have to wait one month or six months for your trip, you immediately throw yourself a little dance party because you're going to Disney! The excitement is just too big for words, so you let your dancing do the talking.
2. Sadness
But then you realize, you have to wait to go to Disney. You no longer want to do any school work or activity that doesn't involve you having the time of your life in Disney. However, your trip is so far away that there is nothing left to do, but be sad that your trip didn't start today.
3. Anger
It's been a couple hours, how much longer can they make you wait? Your anger starts to take over because your parents decided that it will be better to go to Disney in a couple months rather than today. Why can't they understand that you just want to go to Disney and be in the happiest place on Earth everyday?
4. Jealousy
You decide there is nothing else to do, but to start planning your trip. While looking a videos and photographs on Disney's website, you realize that people in Florida can go whenever they are free with their annual passes. Suddenly, you become extremely jealous that people get to go to Disney all the time and you're left waiting at home for your next trip. Not fair.
5. Confused
Now, the wait becomes overwhelming and you ask why were you not born closer to Disney. You don't understand why you can't go to Disney whenever you want. Then the question becomes, why weren't you born a Disney princess? Now you're sitting on the floor all confused, asking questions that will never be answered.
6. Fear
You decide to take your mind off of the fact that you have to wait for Disney by reading articles about the parks. All of sudden, you find a website with a list of all the rides expected to close or be temporarily shut-down for maintenance. Now you start to freak out. What happens if your favorite ride is closed when you arrive on your vacation. Then you start to panic because your trip will not be complete unless you do and see every aspect of the park.
7. Hope
Just as you think everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong, you read that there will be new rides opening on your trip. Also, new characters are going to be at the parks which means new autographs for your memory book and more photographs! There is still hope for this trip!
8. Anticipation
You decide that sitting on your floor, being depressed isn't going to help you prepare the vacation of a lifetime. You start remembering your past trips and all of the magic experienced. Before you even realize it, you already started to pack and you're back to being extremely excited. Your anticipation takes over and all you talk about is all the happy memories you'll make on your trip.
9. Joy
All your fears and confusion disappear. Your anticipation gets the best of you. You never been so happy or joyful in your life. Even though your trip may be a couple months down the road, you are so thankful and excited that your parents surprised you with this trip.
10. Disgust
