10 Disney Quotes to Get You Through the Second Half of the Semester

Disney has come up with some very wise quotes over the years. Here are some great ones to think about to help you get through the second half of the semester!

1. "“The very things that hold you down are going to lift you up.” – Timothy Mouse, Dumbo

Midterms, classes, and obligations may seem excessive and annoying now, but try to remember that you are in college for a reason and that things will be better in the long run.

2. “You must not let anyone define your limits because of where you come from. Your only limit is your soul.” – Gusteau, Ratatouille

Remember that where you come from doesn't have to define you. It's what you do from here that really counts.

3.“You think the only people who are people, are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you’ll learn things you never knew you never knew.” – Pocahontas, Pocahontas

In college, remember to not only try and find people like yourself, try and get to know other people from different backgrounds. I guarantee it will open your mind to an assortment of other things

4. "You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"- Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh

Don't doubt yourself! You've got this! Just keep pushing!

5."Sometimes the right path is not the easiest one"-Grandmother Willow, Pocahontas

Sometimes making the right decisions in college can be tough. Just be sure to think about your decisions and try and decide what might be best for you personally.

6."If you do your best each and everyday, good things are sure to come your way."- Tiana, Princess and the Frog

Friendly reminder half way through the semester to try your best at everything you do!

7."It's a world of laughter, a world of tears, a world of hopes and a world of fear"-It's a Small World Attraction

I'm sure you probably have this icon song stuck in your head now (You're Welcome) but this song actually has some important words to remember.

8."Trying is the important thing. It's okay to fail as long as you keep trying"-Mr. Rzykruski, Frankenweenie

Didn't get the grade you were hoping for on that midterm? Or didn't get that internship you wanted? It's okay, failure is a part of life, just remember to keep trying even after you fail.

9."You only get a few good friends in this life who are devoted and true"-Winnie The Pooh

Be sure to treasure you best friends around you. They will be there and love you unconditionally.

10."Close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by"- Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean

Who am I kidding, college can be hard. You can find me dreaming it is Summertime already.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
