Compliments are pretty universal no matter where you go. There are simple ones that work, like: "I love that shirt!", "where did you get those cute shoes?" and "your hair looks awesome!"
Then there are some other types of 'compliments' that aren't actually compliments and should never be told to someone, like: "your ass looks huge today," "you don't look as big today," and "wish I could pull something like that off."
Girls absolutely love compliments. They just kind of brighten our days and give us that little extra boost of confidence we needed. We also love to give out compliments too, and not just because we usually get one in return. Don't give out cliche and over-used compliments though. Try some more creative ones to grab a girls attention.
1. "Your makeup looks really nice today."
Do you know how long it takes us to do our make up? A little recognition every now and again would be much appreciated.
2. "That lipstick is a nice color on you."
Lord! If only men understood how hard it is to find a shade of lipstick that looks good with your skin tone.
3. "You have such pretty eyes."
Pretty standard compliment, but always warms my heart.
4. "I love your laugh."
Sometimes I snort when I laugh, so if you say you love my laugh then I automatically love you.
5. "You are so interesting."
You think I'm interesting? Really? Me? You're too kind.
6. "You're beautiful, no matter what."
This may be one of the sweetest and most comforting things you can say.
7. "Is that a new outfit?"
Again, I realize this is superficial, like make up, but this takes time for us. If you notice this, you get a gold star.
8. "You're cute when you're passionate about something."
If you can see when I'm super passionate about something, and you like that you can see that and share that with me, you are a wonderful human being.
9. "I love spending time with you."
Yay, I'm not annoying!
10. "You're really easy to talk to."
This may seem mundane, but I genuinely love when people think I am easy to talk to. We don't have to push to have a conversation, we think alike, it's just a nice feeling in my book.
P.S "Good thing you're pretty," is still not a compliment!
