Everyone has a favorite treat during the holiday season. Whether you prefer cookies, drinks, or hard candies, the Christmas season has something for you! If you're a Christmas lover like me, then it's hard to pick a favorite.

1. Chocolate Chip Cookies

A Christmas classic. What other cookies could you imagine leaving for Santa?

2. Snickerdoodles

Ugh, just look at how beautiful they are! A sprinkle of cinnamon makes everything better!

3. Hot Chocolate

An all-around Winter favorite that suits Christmas just as well!

4. Sugar Cookies

An all-American childhood favorite! Shape them, ice them, make them any way you want!

5. Gingerbread

Almost everyone has decorated a gingerbread man or gingerbread house. To be honest, I don't think I've ever decorated a gingerbread house in the summer.

6. Peanut Butter Blossoms

Peanut butter cookies with a Hershey's kiss on top. Simple, yet delicious!

7. Homemade Rice Crispy Treats

Top these classic treats with festive sprinkles or a chocolate dip! You can Also make them in a bundt pan to add a fancy shape.

8. Chocolate Peppermint Bark

The chocolate and peppermint combo is one of my absolute favorites.

9. Reindeer Chow

This one is a bit like Chex puppy chow, but a lot more festive!

10. Candy Canes

Keeping it simple. They hang on the tree, and they are a delicious treat!

Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
