Everyone needs a good time killer. Here is a quick guide to your procrastination on YouTube.
1. The Evolution of Music--Pentatonix
This is one of the most interesting videos about music I have ever watched. They move from an 11th century song to the ones that everyone now has heard on the radio. If you don't know who Pentatonix is, it is a group of five people that perform amazing music all a cappella. If you jump into this wormhole you will go through a whole lot of music styles all super entertaining to watch.
2. OLD WEST DANCE BATTLE - COWBOY VS OUTLAW!--ScottDW
I have to admit that I love watching dance videos. I just think it is super cool how well the costumes and choreography come together. The cool thing about the guy who puts these videos out is that he creates the songs that they are dancing to. Following this video there are ones dealing with Harry Potter vs Twilight, high school dance battles, and storm troopers.
3. Teens React to Troye Sivan (Blue Neighborhood Trilogy)--Fine Brothers Entertainment
This is a fun one to watch for a couple of reasons. One being that I do really enjoy the music and the music videos that they are reacting to. Number two would be the fact that the react videos are always super fun to watch. This is an extreme time suck because not only are there tons of teen react videos, there are also YouTubers, elder, kids, etc. all reacting to a bunch of different videos.
4. Any of the Epic Rap Battles of History
These made me laugh so hard that I had tears in my eyes, and they are twice as fun when you share them with other people. Granted there are definitely a few that have a good handful of "bad words", but they will make you laugh nonetheless. A couple of my favorites "Romeo and Juliet vs Bonnie and Clyde" and "Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc". Oh, and if the abundance of actual videos isn't enough, there are behind the scenes videos to make sure you never get any actual work done!
5. Drop the Mic w/ Cara Delevingne & Dave Franco--The Late Late Show with James Corden
This video showcases one of the many late night shows that have celebrities on solely to make their audience laugh. Personally I think that Cara won this battle even before she got to her killer last lines. The YouTube hole you'll have to climb out of here is the many videos that James Corden has put up on YouTube with all of our favorite celebrities. That is, if you also are able to avoid the other shows such as Jimmy Fallon and Ellen.
