You know those days when you may not be in the best mood and you need some music therapy? Or those days when you want to open up all the windows in your apartment and dance around your kitchen or bedroom because that paper you have been procrastinating on is haunting you? Or maybe you just really need to block the whole world out?

Well here’s 11 songs to get you through all of that and more:

1. "Play That Song" by Train

I think train is a great band for happy tunes and this song is definitely a good one! It’s one of their new songs. It was just released this year. It’s the perfect song to sing when you need a pick-me-up!

2. "Shut Up And Dance" by Walk The Moon

Okay so whenever I go out this is my favorite song to hear! It makes me want to dance every time I hear it. This Walk The Moon song will put me in a good mood every time it comes on! It's the perfect song to dance it out to!

3. "Lately" by Shapes and Colors

I love this song because it’s one of those feel good songs with a good beat! I stumbled across this song when I was browsing through Spotify one day and I had it on repeat all day.

4. "How Far I’ll Go" by Alessia Cara

I had to throw a Disney song onto this playlist and this song from Moana is the perfect one!

5. "Leave The Night" On by Sam Hunt

I very rarely listen to country music but when I do it’s definitely something by Sam Hunt. Not only is he absolutely beautiful but he’s got a voice to match! This song is perfect to blast in your car with the windows down.

6. "Once in a While" by Timeflies

This song just makes want to dance. I like to listen to it when I’m cleaning my room because I need to listen to something that’s going to make me feel energetic!

7. "Say You Like Me" by We The Kings

Okay so when I was in the 7th grade I listened to We The Kings all the time so this song has a nostalgic affect one me, which is probably why I love it so much. Even all these years later this song still puts a smile on my face and I can still sing every word.

8. "Rebel Beat" by The Goo Goo Dolls

I love the chorus of this song! Just don't be too much of a rebel. You do have to finish that homework that you're ignoring right now.

9. "Hurricane" by The Vamps

Don’t judge me for liking a boy band because this song is actually really good! It always makes it on my summer playlist because it’s such a good song to dance to.

10. "Still Breathing" by Green Day

I love this song and I’m convinced that this song will be playing when I meet my future husband (don’t ask my why I think that, I’m weird). This is a great song to do homework to because it's energetic but it's not too distracting. Great background music for your apartment!

11. "Hallelujah" by Panic! At The Disco

I’ve been a Panic fan for a while now and this song by them definitely makes me want to dance!

Everyone needs a playlist that puts a smile on their face! Here's the link to the playlist that has all the songs listed in this article.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
