It is very important to know that you are blessed. You live a blessed life. Too many people make themselves miserable by thinking about only the negative things and looking for the bad things. Stop finding reasons to complain. I say there is always a positive side. Actually, I know that there is always a positive side. So, here are a few bright sides to keep in mind throughout the rough days:
Every day is brand new
You wake up in the morning and are here to see another beautiful day yet again. One bad day does not mean a bad life. Sleep it off, wake up tomorrow, and start over on a clean slate.
There are countless people who love you
You have a support system backing you through every sticky situation you get yourself tangled into. Remember that you're not alone.
The best days of your life haven’t happened yet
And how exciting is that? You don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow or an hour from now, but you do know that it could be amazing, so cheer up! The best has yet to come.
The best things in life aren’t things
The things that don't come with a price tag are the most important. Smiles, laughs, nights out with friends, family barbecues, movie nights in, sunny skies and being surrounded by people who love you.
What’s for you will not pass you
Hey, what’s meant to be will be. It all depends on how you look at it. I live by this.
Your pets will love you unconditionally
Having a bad day? Cuddle with your dog.
Feeling kind of down in the dumps? Your cat will distract you by knocking over all of your belongings.
Had it up to the moon and back with bossy people? Your fish will always be super chill.
Smiling automatically improves your mood
It's been scientifically proven. I'm not lying. So, smile more! Worry less! You might be stressed over your test tomorrow, but flash a smile and make yours and other's days a little brighter.
Count your blessingsI know, you probably rolled your eyes at this one, but bear with me. You could've just trudged through the worst day of your life thus far and want to lay in bed and just sleep. That's okay, we've all been there. The most important thing to focus on in times like this is how blessed you really are. For every one bad thing that happened to you today, there are two things to be happy about. Think about that and be happy to live the life you have.
There is a bright side to everything, but whether you look for it or not is your choice.
