It's the end of the semester, with only finals week standing between us and summer break. For many, it's the end of your very first year of college. Congratulations—you made it! Looking back, this year probably already holds a lot of important memories from your college career, and as you move through your next three years of school and even look back after graduation, your freshman year of college will hold a special kind of nostalgia for you. There are a lot of great moments to remember from your freshman year, and I think we should commemorate those moments before we dive into finals and summer. To that end, I've decided to immortalize some iconic first-year-of-college moments the best way I know how...with Disney GIFs. The professors always say they want to you to make an effort to engage with the material, even if you're not right the fist time, right?
7. The first time you see someone streaking
At Wheaton we call this a "Kingdom Run." Whatever you call it, close your blinds.
8. When you ace your first exam
Don't act like you're not impressed.
9. When you have to deal with syllabus day
This is pretty much what finals week feels like too, to be honest.
10. Showering in the communal bathrooms
I saw a spider come out of the drain.
11. If you accidentally set off the fire alarm
In my dorm, this happens annoyingly often. Shower steam, burnt popcorn...we've gotten dragged out of bed at 3 a.m. for some pretty stupid reasons.
12. When you're late to class and have to walk into the lecture hall with everyone looking at you
That's the real walk of shame.
13. When you finally accept that you've developed a dependence on caffeine
Everyone told me I'd start drinking coffee in college. I didn't believe them at first, but...it's a thing.
14. When your parents find out you're dating someone
And this is why you don't put it on Facebook.
